Gradebook Grade Entry Trouble

Trouble with assigning grades in a myCIA Course using the Gradebook is frustrating.

Most grade entry problems are related to an incomplete setup within the Gradebook.

Specify the default letter grades

  1. Open the course page
  2. Navigate to the Gradebook
  3. Choose "Letter Grade Ranges"
  4. If the area between "Add / Edit a grade to start" and Save is empty
  5. Choose "Default Grade Scale" from the "Change to:" drop down
  1. The Default Grade Scale is now visible
  2. Choose Save
