How to Connect to Jenzabar/PowerFAIDs in the Cloud?

These are the instructions on how to access the update version of Jenzabar post move to the cloud.

Setup the Duo App

To begin the setup process, you should receive an email from Duo Security that appears like the one below. If you haven't received this email, check your spam or clutter folders before contacting your system administrator via support@cia.edu.

Click the link in the email.

The link will bring you to a page that looks like the above. Click Start Setup.

Make a selection. If you choose a mobile phone or tablet, you will be required to download an application. This how to will only cover setting up for a mobile phone. If you need more direction on setting Duo up for tablet or landline please contact IT using support@cia.edu

Enter your mobile phone.

Select your phone's device.

The instructions will tell you to download the appropriate app for your device. Once you have the app installed on your mobile phone, return to this page and click I have Duo Mobile Installed.

Open the application on your mobile phone and click the + sign in the upper right. This will allow you to photograph the QR code on screen.

Finally, you have the option to finish enrollment. When you log in to the new J1, you will be able to select the authentication method or if you prefer, you can make the selection here at setup. Click Finish Enrollment.

Adding RemoteApps to your PC

  1. Open your Start Menu
  2. Type Access RemoteApp and desktops
  3. Select the Application to Access RemoteApp and Desktop
  4. Type in this connection: https://remoteapps.cia.edu/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx
  5. Click next. That should do it. CIA RemoteApps should be in the window.
  6. To test: Go to the Start Menu and scroll for a folder called CIA RemoteApps (RADC). All the normal programs are now located there.

Login to RemoteApps to access Jenzabar

Once Duo is setup and an IT Admin has setup your RemoteApps, you are ready to access Jenzabar on your PC.

Click the start menu (the windows login in the bottom left) and in the list navigate to CIA Remote Apps (RADC). This folder will contain your RemoteApps programs. Select the software you want to run.

I have chosen to run Jenzabar One. Click Connect. You will be asked to enter your credentials.

This window will appear once you successfully enter your credentials. Click Show Details, and a larger window will open.

Duo Multifactor will be on the screen asking you to approve access on your mobile device. Once you approve Duo on your phone, the application you launched will open.

Login to RemoteApps to access PowerFAIDS

Once Duo is setup and an IT Admin has setup your RemoteApps, you are ready to access PowerFAIDS on your PC.
