CIA phones are part of Microsoft Teams. This article will explain how to set up your voicemail.
- Open your Teams App or https://teams.microsoft.com
- In the top right corner of Teams, Select the Ellipsis menu (...) next to your account image.
- Select 'Settings'
Settings are only found in Teams. This cannot be done from any other M365 service.
- In the Settings menu
- Select 'Calls'
- Scroll the window until you see 'Manage voicemail'
- Press 'Record a greeting' in the Settings> Calls.
This will call your voicemail and instruct you in what to do.
- The Teams app will automatically provide the numeric keypad during the recording process.
- If you are using the browser Teams page you will need to select the Keypad icon to select the keys mentioned during the instructions.
- The Default Greeting language is English for our organization. There is no need to choose English.
- Choose what happens when the call goes to voicemail.
- Text-To Speech only works if no audio greeting has been recorded. Type the message you want.
- Save your changes
- The out of office voicemail settings allow you to choose when to play the greeting and a custom Text-To-Speech greeting
