This tutorial will serve as a guide on how to use ImagePrint for all Wide Format Print orders.
ImagePrint is a RIP software that we use to output high quality wide format prints in an efficient and timely manner.
ImagePrint is pinned to the task bar at the bottom of the screen. In the case of it not being there, you can search for it through the search bar.
When loading a file into ImagePrint, you will click on "File", in the top left corner of the screen, then "Open".
After clicking "Open", you will be presented with a new window that will allow you to select files on the RIP station computer and our schoolwide network.
Files can be located in a multitude of areas.
(Ex. if you downloaded the file it will be located in "Downloads".)
We also have a school wide network that allows all students, and staff to create folders that will store their files. Those files can be accessed by our software, allowing us to print everyone's files.
Once you are in the patrons folder, find the files that they listed on their order and open them up.
Once the file is opened, it will appear in ImagePrint on the paper that is depicted.
You will now need to set the print settings before you can print.
On the right hand side, you will see "Load", click that and you will then be presented with window that will display all of are paper type presets that can be used.
We have two SureColor P9570 inkjet printers, named Thing 1 and Thing 2, that can be printed to from Image Print. Both printers have their own separate presets that need to be chosen to print to a specific printer.
Once your preset has been loaded, you will need to set the roll paper size.
You will now be presented with a pop-up window where you will see a list of roll sizes. Select the size of the roll that best fits the image(s).
Once you have everything set, click "Print" in the top right. You will be presented with a pop-up window. Click "Ok", to move forward.
You will now be faced with another window from PaperCut. This window will allow you to charge out students, and departments.
The file(s) will now begin processing and in a few moments they will begin printing.
