This article explains how to setup and print from a personal laptop for CIA students, faculty and staff. For additional support, please submit a ticket to support.cia.edu
Please note that users must be connected to the “PinkPig” WIFI network to setup and print from personal laptops.
Go to WIFI settings on your computer and confirm the laptop is signed into the "PinkPig" WIFI network.
Visit the Personal Laptop Printing page after signing into my.cia and select the link to download the printer installer according to the operating system (Mac or Windows).
… or login to my.cia.edu and use the "Campus Services" drop down menu at left to navigate to the Technology page. Click on the "Copy Print and Scan" link on the lefthand side of the page then find the "Personal Laptop Printing" link on the left. Select the link to download the printer installer according to the operating system (Mac or Windows).

Browse to the file that was downloaded in Step 1 (typically found in the "Downloads" folder) and open the file by double-click or right-click and select "Open" then follow the installer dialogue prompts.
Windows users may need to extract the zipped file before opening by right-click on the zipped file and selecting "Extract All…" then browse the new folder to access the unzipped file.

Select all or some of the printers & proceed with install. Once installation is complete, users can delete the install file.

On Macintosh, users will be prompted to sign in to their Papercut account the first time they send a job to print.
On Windows, users will be prompted to sign in during installation.
Send a test print to check & confirm functionality. Printers are named according to room number.
To print to copiers, use the "Find-Me-Student" option and refer to operational instructions here for print release.
