First Time Account Activation
Stop!
First Time users are required to change their password and create security questions.
Passwords are required to be changed every 120 days.
Read OneLogin account activation before you do anything with email.
This process needs to be done on a computer, not a mobile device (ie. phone, tablet etc).
All CIA accounts use the same user name and password .
You were provided your CIA account at the beginning stART.
You have received a new temporary password that is only for activating your email. You will be required to change it as part of the activation process. The new password will be your CIA account password.
Most usernames are first initial + middle initial + family name.
James Tiberius Kirk would be

Email access
Navigate to:
https://mail.google.com/a/student.cia.edu
Enter your credentials
- Enter your CIA username
- Select 'Continue'
- Enter your CIA password
- Select 'Continue'
Accept the Google new account information
Read and follow the current instructions.

After activation the account can be set up on mobile devices of your choice.
Read your email
From the day you are informed that your CIA email address is active, all CIA email communication will be through your student email account.
Your inbox will have several important messages over the coming days and weeks.
Read Them.
After pressing "Accept" you will be presented with a quick start tour which you can follow or skip.
At the bottom of your inbox there is also a setup tasks dashboard with a Setup progress display.
